On behalf of the member countries of the Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries, and Food Security (CTI-CFF), and the management and staff of the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat, I am honored to extend my sincere congratulations to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of Malaysia on the occasion of the 64th Anniversary of Malaysia’s Independence Day.

On behalf of the member countries of the Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries, and Food Security (CTI-CFF), we extend our best wishes for continued progress and prosperity to the Government and people of the Republic of Indonesia on the 76th Anniversary of your Independence Day this 17th August.

We take pride in the friendship and cooperation between Indonesia and the CTI-CFF member countries, highlighted by active coordination on shared concerns and commitment to promoting sustainable growth, livelihoods, and food security in the region.

CTI-CFF congratulates and welcomes Dr. Pamuji Lestari on her appointment as a member of the CTI-CFF Committee of Senior Officials and Executive Secretary for the National Committee Secretariat of CTI-CFF Indonesia, appointed by Indonesia’s Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries.

CTI-CFF looks forward to working closely with Dr. Lestari and further strengthening the cooperation between the Government of Indonesia and CTI-CFF.

The Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries, and Food Security (CTI-CFF) and Corredor Marino del Pacifico Este Tropical (CMAR) collaborated again to conduct a webinar on tourism as a strategy for conservation, scientific monitoring, and citizen science on 22 July 2021.
